Black Cod is a whitefish like no other. Rich, buttery, and loaded with omega 3 Fatty acids, its sometimes called “butterfish”. Because of its high oil content, Black Cod is very easy to prepare without overcooking or drying out. Try smoking, sautéing, poaching, or roasting.
Our black cod is packaged bone in, skin on in approximate 1 pound portions per bag.
Sustainably fished right outside our doorstep, flash frozen and individually vacuum sealed bags, hand filleted in Pelican, Alaska.
